Plan your move in advance. For local moves, aim to schedule at least three to four weeks beforehand. For long-distance moves, try to book even earlier. The earlier you plan, the more options you'll have for choosing a date that works for you.
Yes, we do! We provide services in New England, New York, and New Jersey. We also serve the entire eastern seaboard. Moves to areas to the west are a case-by-case basis. Call to inquire!
Most moving companies charge different rates on weekdays, weekends, and holidays. Check with our Sales Concierge Team for our current rates.
Licensed movers, like Honor Movers, cannot transport dangerous items, such as propane tanks, paint, firearms, and aerosols. These items can catch fire or even explode because of the high temperatures inside the truck.
Absolutely! To learn more, please contact our Sales Concierge Team for rates.
Yes, we do. We will disassemble and reassemble furniture for free. This service is included in the hourly rate. We always appreciate a heads-up though, so we can be prepared!
Yes! Whether it's long-term or short-term storage you're looking for, our climate-controlled warehouse storage offers a secure location for your belongings. To find out about storage rates, please contact our Sales Concierge Team.
We provide valuation coverage at $0.60 per pound for each item, following industry standards. If you want more coverage, please contact your insurance carrier. Honor Movers is fully licensed and insured. Our US DOT number is 3062082. We have complete coverage for our vehicles, cargo, and workers' compensation.
The cost of your move depends on several factors: distance, shipment size in cubic feet, needed services (like packing, unpacking, and storage), and how easy it is to access your locations (for example, stairs or elevators).
Our Sales Concierge Team can give you a detailed estimate after you provide your information over the phone. You can also request an in-home estimate, where someone will visit your home to assess your needs.
A binding estimate guarantees a fixed price. A non-binding estimate is an approximate cost that can change. We offer non-binding estimates.
Your estimate includes an hourly rate, a vehicle/fuel surcharge, and the total time our team takes to move you.
If we estimate that your move will take eight hours but finish in six, you only pay for six hours. In contrast, with a flat rate estimate, you will pay the quoted amount no matter how long the move takes.
We do not have any hidden fees. We charge the hourly rate plus a vehicle/fuel surcharge. If you need packing done or an item disposed of, our Sales Concierge Team will share those associated costs with you.
Be ready for us. Have everything boxed and placed as best you can near the entryway and clearly labeled with the room name (i.e., MBR=Master Bedroom). This will speed up the moving process and ensure everything gets placed where you want it at the destination. Furniture can be labeled as well.
We are happy to provide references, but our 5-star Google rating tells the story.
We accept cash, checks, and debit/credit cards. Debit/credit cards will endure a 3.5% fee at the time of payment.
We hope this page offers insight into Honor Movers and the moving industry. The goal of this page is to have you well-prepared to hire a moving company that meets your needs and budget.
